Caroline C. Boudreaux, CPA/ABV/CFF, CFE

Ms. Boudreaux has broad professional experience in accounting and tax across a variety of industries including healthcare, construction, financial institutions, professional services, retail, real estate and manufacturing.  She has directed audits of financial institutions and employee benefit plans, and performed reviews and compilations of financial statements and was responsible for the technical review of individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns.  Her consulting experience includes advising clients in the areas of finance, tax planning, general business practices and strategic planning with a focus on performance measurement.

Ms. Boudreaux has served as an expert witness and testified at trial and depositions in litigation matters.  She has also served as a consultant in litigation matters and assisted with the discovery process.   Her experience includes fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, individual and commercial economic damages and marital dissolutions.

Stephanie L. Halphen, CPA/CFF, CVA, MAFF

Ms. Halphen’s consulting experience includes accounting and auditing services, including financial projections for loan proposals. Professional service firms, oil and gas companies, banking, auto dealerships, retail, healthcare, mobile home industry, manufacturing and distribution are all industries she has consulted.

In litigation services, Ms. Halphen’s experience includes fraud and forensic accounting, expert reports and testimony in accounting and financial business issues. In addition, drafting and responding to interrogatories related to financial issues, drafting questions for trial related to financial issues, critique of financial expert witness reports, reviewing, organizing and analyzing financial documents received in response to discovery, and preparing required financial disclosures.

Additionally, Ms. Halphen has provided business valuation services for various purposes from estate tax and gift tax planning to mergers and acquisitions, marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, and other litigated/non-litigated matters. Businesses she has valued include manufacturing, timber, restaurant, utility contract services, health care, professional services, retail and real estate.

Greg J. Harbourt, CPA, CVA
Special Agent, FBI (retired)

 

After retiring with 29 years of earned service as a Special Agent with the FBI, Mr. Harbourt possesses extensive experience leading, conducting and managing a variety of complex, high-profile, criminal investigations, where he conducted hundreds of interviews, and testified at numerous federal grand jury proceedings, hearings and trials. These investigations also often involved analysis of voluminous financial records, business records and other documentary evidence, preparation of spreadsheets, charts and instructive exhibits. Mr. Harbourt developed an extensive investigative background in all types of fraud including financial institution fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, securities fraud, corporate fraud, drug and civil rights violations, health care fraud, weapons of mass destruction threats and public corruption.

Investigations performed by Mr. Harbourt included conducting critical interviews of subjects and victims, use of sophisticated investigative techniques, preparation of detailed reports and affidavits, along with extensive trial preparation in coordination with prosecutors to develop trial strategies, witness and exhibit lists and cross-examination questions. Mr. Harbourt has coupled his training and experience as an FBI, Special Agent investigator with his background in the banking industry, as a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) to offer a wide range of investigative and consulting services to the public.
